Chemistry, Bachelor of Arts

The chemistry major requires a minimum of 30 credits in chemistry plus 22 credits in math and physics. Students with a double major in biology and chemistry may substitute CHEM 310 and CHEM 315 for CHEM 321 and CHEM 322 and a mathematics requirement of MATH 113 or MATH 115 or equivalent. It is also recommended that students take CHEM 315, CHEM 342, CHEM 351, CHEM 401 and a computer programming course. The chemistry major leads to the bachelor of arts degree.
