BIOL 108 Environmental Science & Stewardship

This course presents a values based approach for dealing with issues that are critical to the well being of Creation. The course provides a general overview of the concepts of global ecology and then uses these concepts to study the impact that human involvement has had on the ecosystem. The framework for this course is centered around these topics: human population, renewable resources, energy, pollution and prevention of pollution with the recurring theme of moving toward a sustainable future for the Creation. Optional lab meets two hours a week.
