ENGL 105 Research & Writing

A course in expository writing with special attention given to preparing research papers in both the Modern Language Association style and the American Psychological Association style. Classroom interaction will focus on the fundamental skills of critical thinking and writing necessary for studying and working within the academic disciplines. Emphasis given to the development of thesis statements, logical organization, and the honest and effective use of sources in summary, analysis, and argument.Prerequisite: COR 101. (Offered every semester.)
