ENGL 310 Theatre History and Literature II

This course is a survey of the history of theatre from the ancient Greeks to the 18th century. It includes a study of representative plays of various types, historical periods and geographical regions. Emphasis will be on analysis of the plays as well as their production potential. The source will examine theatre as an art that both reflects and influences social and cultural life.
