MUTH 344 Advanced Songwriting Techniques

This course builds upon foundations laid in MUTH 340 and includes professional songwriting techniques such as topline writing, advanced use of melodic patterns, melodic contour, sensory language, hooks, and more. Students will incorporate these techniques into their original songs as they build their songwriting portfolio.
