The United States Constitution.  Does a more revered political document exist in the world today?  The fundamental elements of this country’s existence spring from its simply written, yet difficulty understood, pages.  Throughout this course we will study the historical context of the Constitution, the powers bestowed by it to the different branches of our government, the powers bestowed by it to the people, and the Supreme Court’s continued review and interpretation of this beloved document.
