1.4.3 : Chief Academic Officer

The Chief Academic Officer fulfills the essential role of ensuring that the University’s educational mission is achieved. At Greenville University the CAO is assisted by the Dean of Faculty and the Assistant Chief Academic Officer. The Academic Affairs Team leads the faculty and serves as their key representative to the administration while simultaneously acting as the administration's spokesperson to the academic faculty.  In addition, the Chief Academic Officer oversees the university’s educational programs along with the Assistant Chief Academic Officer to gather programmatic data and program reviews.  The Chief Academic Officer is responsible for implementing projects that are identified in the Strategic Plan, in concert with the University President reviews the missional and educational fit of strategic initiatives that extend beyond the boundaries of the University and works with the Executive Cabinet to meet both short term and long-term financial goals.
