Acadeum Coursework
Greenville University students have the option of enrolling in pre-approved online consortia courses from other four-year colleges and universities through Acadeum. Courses completed through the Acadeum agreement are considered Greenville University institutional credit and financial aid may be used to help cover tuition fees.
Greenville University helps facilitate the enrollment and billing process for Acadeum courses; however, students enrolled in Acadeum courses become students at the partnering institution (in addition to being a Greenville student) for the duration of the course and are subject to that institution's policies and procedures.
Greenville students can utilize Acadeum courses to meet a degree requirement that for mitigating reasons cannot be completed at Greenville University. The Records Office will be responsible for making the final decision to approve or deny students' applications to take Acadeum courses. Additional fees may apply when enrolling in courses through Acadeum.
Students should work with their academic advisor, department chair, and the Registrar if they are interested in utilizing Acadeum online consortia courses.
Students wishing to be released from a course should check with financial aid before dropping or withdrawing from a course. Federal regulations could result in the students owing the college if they withdraw from a course or fail to begin a course for which they have registered.
