Student Load

Academic credit is measured in semester hours. A minimum of 12 credits during the fall and spring semester constitutes full time enrollment for that term. For purposes of financial aid, a student taking 12 credits is considered full time. Students wishing to enroll for more than 18 credits must have a GPA of at least 3.00 and special permission of the department chair. Faculty advisors consult with every student at least once each semester to ensure that they are making satisfactory academic progress and to help plan their course of study.
