Digital Media, Bachelor of Science
The digital media major requires students to complete 54 credits. Digital media majors are required to present a portfolio of their work and have a conference with the digital media faculty after the completion or in the semester of completion of 15 credits with the DMDA prefix. It is recommended that a student sign up for portfolio review prior to the end of their sophomore year or following the first semester of their junior year if they are a transfer student. If a student fails the Midway Digital Media Portfolio Review, he or she will have one more opportunity to resubmit their portfolio for review the following semester. Students who complete the digital media major are eligible to receive the bachelor of science degree.
Digital Media Major Requirements
Core Courses
DMDA 405 must be completed for four credits.
In addition to the major requirements listed above, students will need to complete a general education curriculum and elective courses to earn 120 credits which is mandatory for earning a Greenville University degree. Details about the general education curriculum can be found in the Academic Information section of this catalog. Some general education requirements are met through required major courses which reduces the number of required general education credits. Students should work closely with their advisor to put together an academic plan to make sure all degree requirements are met in a timely manner.
The outcomes for this program can be found on the Greenville University Institutional Assessment webpage.
