EXPF 320 Experience First-Projects
Greenville University’s Experience-Projects course is an interdisciplinary, high impact, and application-based course. Students will engage with external partners on real-time projects with real-world challenges that offer a taste of the high-stakes environments that exist beyond classroom walls. Students work with an assigned team and project coach to identify, create, and implement solutions for external project partners. Enrolled students practice and further develop skills related to collaborative cross- functional teamwork, multi-medium, and inter-generational communication, personal and team-based time-management, problem solving, research, analysis, and critical inquiry. Students are encouraged to approach their project work through a Christian lens and are required to reflect on the connection between character, service and meaningful work. External partners are vetted through an application proposal process and come from diverse backgrounds, fields, industries, and professions.
