Greenville Student Government Association (GSGA)
Every traditional undergraduate student at Greenville is a member of the Student Association. Acting under a representative constitution, this group elects major officers and representatives to Student Senate annually. Senate members are elected from the various residence halls, from among the commuting students, from the classes, and at large.
Student Senate in conjunction with the Executive Cabinet has committees responsible for social and cultural activities, publications, student relations, and academic affairs. The President of the Student Association as well as many other students serve on the numerous standing committees of the University. These experiences of delegating and accepting responsibility form an important part of the total educational experience.
