Student Surveys and Out-of-Class Tests
Greenville University improves academic programs by examining the outcomes of students’ work in the classroom as well as throughout class surveys and inventories. This process of outcomes assessment provides evidence as to how much students learn during their four years at college. The university requests, and sometimes requires students to take surveys and inventories as part of the outcomes assessment process. Performance on these inventories and surveys is not graded and does not affect students’ GPAs. These assessment tools provide feedback to faculty and administrators regarding the degree to which the university is fulfilling its institutional goals and objectives.
