HIST 215 History Teaching Methods

 Students receive guidance and training on effective teaching methods for secondary instruction in history and the social sciences. The course is designed experientially to maximize students' opportunities to practice their lesson planning and instruction, and to evaluate their own progress toward achieving learning objectives. Course activities may involve syllabi creation, lesson planning, creation of assessments, classroom instruction, and planning a field trip or extracurricular activity.
