Educational Studies, Bachelor of Science
The educational studies major provides a course of study for students who have a desire to teach outside of the P12 public school system. This major requires that students complete 51-56 hours of credit. Students who choose this major may want to have a career in museum education, national parks/outdoor education, community education programs, mission/ministry education, or private institutions. Students must choose an area of emphasis. Students completing this major are eligible for the bachelor of science degree.
Students must have a successful criminal background check for participation in field experiences. This program will NOT lead to an Illinois State Teaching License.
