Foundations in Liberal Arts

The Foundations in Liberal Arts courses are central to orientating students to the Christian liberal arts focus at Greenville University.  Students will be exposed to college level study and reflection as well as lead to develop habits that will lead to success in college. 
 
Students who have been admitted into The McAllaster Scholars Program will take HONR 105 instead of UNIV 101.
 
Similarly, students majoring in Engineering will take ENGR 101 instead of UNIV 101.
 
Students completing an online major will complete LEAD 306.
 
Students who have 60 or more transferable credits or have earned an associate's degree are not required to complete the Foundations in Liberal Arts requirement.  The exception is students who have an associate's degree and have graduated from high school within nine months of being enrolled at GU will be scheduled to take UNIV 101

The Foundations in Liberal Arts requirement must be completed at Greenville University and cannot be substituted with a course transferred in from another institution.
