As part of the larger mission of the university, the Language and Culture Department provides students with the necessary language skills, cross-cultural experiences, and literary and cultural understandings to navigate effectively as ambassadors of Christ among other cultures.

Students pursuing a bachelor of arts degree may fulfill the foreign language requirement by completing elementary courses in French (FREN 101/FREN 102) or Spanish (SPAN 101/SPAN 102).
