edTPA Remediation

For a student who fails the edTPA but has met all other requirements for the degree:

• A passing grade will be given for student teaching.
• COTE may approve the student to graduate and receive the degree.
• The student will NOT be entitled to licensure as she/he is not a completer.
• The student may choose to pursue licensure through an EDTPA remediation plan as determined between the student and his/her advisor
• When EDTPA is passed, she/he will be entitled to their licensure at that time.
