2.11.2 : Parking Permits and Lot Assignments

1.    Residential Students:

a.    Lots: B, C, D, E, F, G, J, L, N, O, P, S, W, AA, AB

2.     Commuter Students (CO):

a.    Lots: B, C, D, E, F, G, J, L, N, O, P, R, S, W, AA, AB

b.    Commuter students may utilize street parking

c.     Only students with a (CO) tag may utilize lot R

d.    Commuter students are prohibited from overnight parking in university lots

e.    Commuter students who do not purchase a parking decal are prohibited from parking in any university lot for any period.

3.    Blankenship Apartment Students (BA):

a.    Lots: B, C, D, E, F, G, J, L, N, O, P, S, T, W, AA, AB

b.    Only students with (BA) tags may utilize Lot T

4.    Greenville Residents (GR):

a.    Lots: B, C, D, E, F, G, J, L, N, O, P, S, W, AA, AB

b.    Students wishing to receive a (GR) sticker must have an address on file with records that falls within the City of Greenville.

c.     Students with a (GR) tag may utilize street parking or park in municipal lots.

5.    Faculty/Staff Permits (hangtags):

a.    Lots H, I, K, R

b.    Faculty/Staff may utilize street parking

c.     Faculty/Staff permits are not authorized for student use.

6.    Temporary Permits:

a.    Issued for up to 30 days when a vehicle is temporarily being used on campus.

b.    Available free of charge in the Campus Safety office

c.     Overnight visitors in Residence Halls are required to have a temporary parking permit. Student visitors are expected to utilize and observe rules related to student parking lots.

d.    Temporary permits are to be placed on the rearview mirror

7.    Handicap Permits:

a.    Issued upon arrival by either Community Life or Campus Safety.

b.    Only valid on Greenville University property and only for the person receiving the permit.

c.     Student permit is required in addition to handicap permit for student owned vehicles

d.    Visitors with a valid handicap plate/permit may utilize on campus handicapped parking spaces.
