Graduate Program in Teaching
Preparing teachers to serve in a culturally diverse world is the mission of the School of Education who offers the Master of Arts in Teaching Program.
The Master of Arts in Teaching degree where students major in Elementary Education is designed to prepare individuals to teach grades one through six. This unique program begins with four foundational education classes taught online. After the initial courses are completed, students take hybrid courses that involve workshops at partnership campuses at Kaskaskia College, Lewis & Clark Community College, Lincoln Land Community College, Southwestern Illinois College, or Lincoln Christian University. This is an Illinois licensure program.
