2.10.2.2 : Spiritual Formation (SF) Credits:
Students may earn a SF credit for attendance and/or participation in activities or programs that are intentionally designed for spiritual formation. 10 SF credits are required each semester. On average, there are 42 opportunities for SF credit each semester.
Approved SF credits include:
1. Encounter: Encounter is held on Monday at 9:30 am in Whitlock Music Center. Encounter involves worshiping through music and engaging in small group discussion on a variety of topics. This service focuses on experiencing Christ and living a life that is transformed by knowing Christ.
2. Vespers: Vespers is held on Thursday at 9:30pm in Whitlock Music Center. Vespers is a student-led worship experience focused on music, testimony, and prayer.
3. Small Groups: Attendance at one session of a Chaplain-approved small group counts as one SF credit. Small group topics, leaders, and locations change from semester-to-semester. Most small groups meet on Friday at 9:30am but can meet at any time throughout the week. Contact the Chaplain for current small group offerings or to start an approved small group.
