Dean's List
A list of those students who achieve semester academic honors is prepared for the Office of Academic Affairs at the close of each semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List a student must:
- Successfully complete a minimum of twelve hours for the semester,
- Meet the minimum semester GPA of 3.5 for students who have completed between 12 and 29.5 (freshmen status) credits at the end of the semester, or 3.7 for all other students, and
- Not carry an incomplete grade at the end of the semester (when grades are dispersed).
Students enrolled in the Undergraduate Teacher Education Program (UTEP) or any of the degree completion majors meeting the stated semester requirements are eligible for semester honors. Successful completion of pass/fail courses (i.e. student teaching) will count in the total hours earned. Students studying off-campus in a program not taught by Greenville University instructors are not eligible for semester honors.
Students who have been on the Dean’s List three consecutive semesters have the privilege of auditing a course without charge each semester they continue their academic achievement.
