Consortium Agreement

A consortium agreement between the CMC and a student's home institution will need to be signed. The purpose of this agreement is to make clear the roles and responsibilities of both Parties with regard to the CMC’s off-campus study program and the student's home institution’s interest in utilizing this program at their discretion as a means to expand their academic, professional and experiential program offerings to your students.

This form can be signed by your campus representative and will be signed by our Executive Director, Warren Pettit.

 

Campus Approval

After a student applies they will need a signed Campus Approval/Certification Form in order to be granted acceptance into the program.  This document is to be signed by the student's Off Campus Study Office and the Registrar.  This verifies that the students has gone through the internal process at their institution.

 

Invoicing

After a student confirms their acceptance, the CMC will send a billing statement to the home institution to bill the student.  The billing statement will come 30 days prior to the start of the semester.  The home institution will collect tuition from the student and remit payment to the CMC.

Students will be directed to talk to their Off Campus Study Office regarding institutional policies regarding financial aid and institutional scholarships for off campus study participants.

Student's who are not enrolled at another institution of higher education will receive their bill directly and are expected to make their first tuition payment prior to beginning of the term.

 

Grade Reports

All student will receive a CMC Grade Report documenting CMC course titles, credits, and grades at the end of the semester.  Home institutions can transcript course work in the way they prefer.  Some institutions rather process credit as if the students transferred in those credits from another institution. Other institutions prefer to assign their own courses codes to our suggested course information.

Greenville University has reviewed syllabi for all of the courses offered by the CMC and have verified that the courses meet the standards required by the GU Faculty and their regional accreditor, The Higher Learning Commission. Therefore, Greenville University will transcript CMC courses for students who may then request an official transcript to be sent to their home institution if a Grade Report isn't adequate.
