Experience First
The Experience First courses are central to orientating students to Greenville University's mission of empowering students for lives of character and service. Students will be exposed to college level study, reflection, critical thinking, and the integration of faith and learning that will guide them in developing habits that lead to success in college and the student's chosen vocation. Four courses, taken during the first three years of study, make up the Experience First sequence.
Students who have 60 or more transferable credits or have earned an associate's degree are only required to complete the final course (
EXPF 320) in the sequence. The exception is students who have an associate's degree and have graduated from high school within nine months of being enrolled at GU will be scheduled to take all four courses.

The Experience First requirements must be completed at Greenville University and cannot be substituted with any course transferred in from another institution.
