Role of Supervisor
University supervisors serve as resource persons to assist cooperating teachers and teacher candidates. Supervisors make at least five classroom visits. Criteria for evaluation are included on evaluation forms noted in the appendix. Evaluation forms are filed electronically in the Greenville University online web reporting system after each supervisor visit. Supervisors are to confer frequently with the candidate and cooperating teachers. University supervisors are available for other visits, as appropriate, and are also available by phone to discuss concerns or to answer questions.
