Exit from Professional Internship

Candidates must successfully complete the professional internship (early experience, clinical practice, seminar and student teaching) as evidenced by final evaluations from the cooperating teacher and the student-teaching supervisor in concert with the Director of Clinical Practice. A final grade of “S” (satisfactory) or “U” (unsatisfactory) will be assigned. To receive a grade of “S”, a passing cut score of 68.75% is required. For students with split placements toward one licensure, the score will be determined by taking the score from each placement’s final evaluation of the cooperating teachers and the student-teaching supervisor in order to reach the average cut.
