2.4.27 : Possessing Firearms or Weapons

Under the advisement of the Director of Community Standards and Campus Safety, Greenville University prohibits the possession, use, or storage on campus of any object designed to inflict injury including firearms, explosive chemicals, gasoline, ammunition, bows, arrows, swords, nun-chucks or any other weapon or an imitation thereof that could be used to cause fear in or injury to another person. BB guns, paint ball guns, airsoft guns, orbeez guns, and knives with blades of three inches or more are also prohibited. This prohibition also applies to items that appear to be weapons such as souvenirs or weapons that have been rendered permanently inoperable.
