This course is designed to give you the tools and insights you need to create classrooms where every student feels safe
and supported. You'll build a trauma-informed practice by first unpacking what trauma actually is and how it impacts
learning. Then, explore practical strategies, like how to build a trauma-sensitive classroom, how to de-escalate tricky
situations, and how to take care of ourselves in the process. You'll leave this course with a resource you created yourself,
ready to make a tangible difference in your classroom and school community.
