Employee Assistance Program-EAP

(Faculty and Regular Full-Time Employees)

Greenville University provides confidential access to professional counseling services through the employee assistance program (EAP). The EAP, available to all employees and their immediate family members, offers problem assessment, short-term counseling, and referral to appropriate community and private services.

The EAP is confidential and is designed to safeguard an employee’s privacy and rights. Contact to and information given to the EAP counselor may be released to Greenville University only if requested by the employee in writing. There is no cost for an employee to consult with an EAP counselor. If further counseling is necessary, the EAP counselor will outline community and private services available. Employees should contact the health insurance group to verify costs and coverage associated with private services. Costs that are not covered are the responsibility of the employee
