Faculty Review Proceures
Full-time tenure-track faculty are reviewed by their department chair or direct supervisor during their second- year, fourth-year and tenure
reviews. These direct supervisor reports are included in the faculty member's professional portfolios and are used by the FRC in their second-year, fourth-year, and tenure reviews of tenure track faculty members. Second-year, fourth year, tenure, and rank change reviews for tenure track faculty are conducted by the Faculty Review Committee. Reviews are intended to provide information to the tenure track faculty member for purposes of self-improvement and to supply a basis for considering the changing of rank or tenure status.
