Regular Reviews
Regular reviews are regularly scheduled reviews for new and tenure-track faculty.
Outcomes of Regular Reviews
Upon completion of a regular review by the direct supervisor, Dean, or FRC, a faculty member will receive a letter of review from the FRC. The letter will include evaluations of strengths and weaknesses according to the criteria. All letters will be copied to the faculty member’s Dean, direct supervisor and chief academic officer for placement in the faculty member’s permanent file. The faculty member must place the review letter in their Professional Portfolio.
Appeals for Dean or direct supervisor reviews are completed by the FRC. An appeal must be initiated within 30 days of notification of the decision appealed. The appeal must be submitted in writing to the chair of the Faculty Review Committee and the chief academic officer.
