Article VII: Duties of the President

The President shall:

A. Be the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, whose duty shall be to administer the policies contained in the Board Policy Manual, and shall abide by the Executive Limitations provisions of the Board Policy Manual.

B. Preside, or select a designee to preside, at meetings with Faculty.

C. Prepare an annual written report for the Board summarizing the work of the Institution. As specified in the Board Policy Manual, the Board may request additional reports, as needed.

D. Be authorized to execute on behalf of the Trustees routine instruments generally connected with his or her office.

E. Maintain proper liaison between the Faculty and Staff and the Board.
