Article XI: Amendments of By-laws and Other Special Board Actions
Amendments to these By-laws may be made at any official meeting of the Board, provided said proposed amendment shall be sent to the members by the secretary with notice of the meeting thirty days prior to the meeting.
An amendment to these By-laws shall require a two-thirds majority vote of the members of the Board.
The following actions by the Board of Trustees shall require the approval of seventy-five (75%) of the Board:
- Any change in the University's statement of faith.
- Any change in the University’s mission statement.
- Modification of the status of the University as a member institution as defined in the Book of Discipline of the Free Methodist Church.
- Vote to hire the President of the University.
- Any change to the Lifestyle Statement.
