Anchor charts are not new, but their purposes and benefit continues to grow. Regardless of the subject area or grade level, anchor charts provide documentation for the learning taking place in the classroom and becomes a tool for learners to refer to in support of their learning goals. As anchor charts are created with the students, the ownership of the learning transfers to the student.
