Employee Performance Appraisals
(Staff and Administrative Staff Employees)
Supervisors and staff are strongly encouraged to discuss job performance and goals on an informal, day-to-day basis. Formal written performance evaluations provide both supervisors and staff the opportunity to discuss job tasks, identify and correct weaknesses, encourage and recognize strengths, and discuss positive, purposeful approaches for meeting goals. Performance appraisals are normally conducted on an annual basis, or more often at the discretion of the supervisor.
