TEACHING ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Teaching Environmental Science will examine how to effectively facilitate students’ learning of current environmental thought, physical, chemical, and biological principles related to environmental science, environmental economics and ethics, and current environmental problems. We will examine ways in which active learning can be nurtured as well as methods to assist all students with becoming critical consumers of information in the field of environmental science, fostering their development of evidence-based reasoning skills.
