EDUA 5825 Approach to Partnering Pedagogy
A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO PARTNERING PEDAGOGY
This course provides teachers the resources they need to implement partnering pedagogy in their classrooms. With a focus on the need for real world links to classroom lessons, this approach allows students to lead the learning experience with the teacher providing guidance and direction. This course includes advice on selecting lesson topics, the creation of “guiding questions,” and discusses the role of technology as a learning tool in the modern-day classroom. Course participants will also receive practical tips for evaluating the effectiveness of their partnering-based lesson including specific suggestions around how to involve students in the process of suggesting changes to the learning process.
