CO-TEACHING STRATEGIES

Co-teaching can have enormous benefits for both you and your students. However, it also requires careful coordination to ensure that students receive unified, cohesive instruction—and that you and your co-teachers have a smooth, stress-free experience.

In this course, you will learn how to maximize learning through healthy, well-planned co-teaching. You’ll see the many benefits of co-teaching, including how it can increase learning opportunities and make your classroom a more inclusive place. In addition, you’ll explore six different models of co-teaching and determine which one will work best for your teaching style and your students’ needs. Finally, you’ll review best practices for collaborating and building a strong co-teaching relationship, including how to overcome potential conflicts.

By the end of this course, you will be equipped with proven co-teaching strategies that will lead to stronger student outcomes and a better professional experience for you and your colleagues.
