EDUA 5822 Data to Drive Improvement in Ed
USING DATA TO DRIVE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN EDUCATION
For many, the term continuous improvement calls to mind large-scale reform and initiatives for change, but it may also be thought of as a cycle of renewal and a mind-set to be shared among all stakeholders in the educational setting.
In this course, you will identify the connection between a continuous improvement mindset and multifaceted success in the 21st-century learning community. You will also examine the continuous improvement process and internalize its symbiotic connection to a shared vision. You will determine how to collect and analyze quality data to inform the continuous improvement process, and explore best practices for addressing needs identified by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data sources. By the end of the course, you will identify how to develop a school improvement initiative that fosters collaboration, responsibility, innovation, best teaching practices, and success.
