FOSTERING TEACHER COLLABORATION WITHIN SMALL GROUPS
In this course, you will explore your personal mindset about collaboration among teachers. You will explore your mindset in relation to the benefits of collaboration as it pertains to your own teaching and the mindset of the students you teach. You will also explore how building on social capital can provide an improved learning environment. By the end of this course, you will assess the possibilities of facilitating professional learning communities to improve instruction and evaluate how the use of book studies, action research projects, lesson study, and peer observation may help to improve your teaching.
