EDUA 5340 Teaching Computer Science in 6-12
TEACHING COMPUTER SCIENCE IN 6-12
Our society's increased dependence on technology is generating a need for highly qualified individuals with the skills to support and create that technology, even as the need to understand that technology extends beyond the traditional realm of computer science as a profession. This course presents an overview of how to prepare middle and high school students for those challenges, including an overview of what computer science is, how it affects our society, and resources for bringing computer science skills into a variety of learning environments.
