EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT FOR THE ELEMENTARY TEACHER
Teachers today face many different classroom management and discipline problems then previous generations. With increased poverty, violence, and behavioral disorders amplifying the age-old difficulties of bullying, poor attendance, and low motivation, 21st century classroom management challenges are vast in the elementary school classroom.

This course will provide effective, positive strategies for restoring order to our classrooms and for creating meaningful and respectful relationships with even the most troubled students. The teacher will learn positive discipline techniques, as well as ways to approach classroom management holistically. Furthermore, the teacher will learn ways to manage behavior through support and interventions as well as strategies for fostering students’ self-esteem and resilience to academic and social challenges.
