ESSENTIAL CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHERS
Technology has become an integral part of education, yet in some schools and districts it is often misunderstood and/or underutilized. Some of the benefits of technology are that it provides a critical access point for underserved and special populations and unique and engaging opportunities for students to engage with content in new ways.
This course is designed as a guide for the teacher that is interested in utilizing technology across subjects to increase student engagement and achievement. By the end of the course, the teacher will be able to utilize technology as a teaching and learning tool, design meaningful learning experiences for your students in consideration of their unique characteristics as digital natives, and deepen his or her practice as a 21st century educator.
